JEE Main 2017 Entrance Exam Conduct for the Admission (BE, B Tech, B. Arch, B. Planning) IITs College, NITs College, All India Ranking Government College, Private College etc. The online application process will start from 01st December, 2016 onwards. The last date for application is 02nd January, 2017 and fee can be paid upto 16th January 2017. JEE Main -2017 will be conducted on 02 Apr, 2017 (Sunday).

Age Limit :

Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1992 are eligible. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PwD candidates who are born on or after October 01, 1987 are eligible. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate will only be considered.

Education Qualification :

B.E/B.TECH –Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in each of the subjects.

B.ARCH./B.PLANNING – Mathematics subject alongwith 50% marks in total including five subjects.

How to Apply :

Before filling up the application form the candidate should have a scanned image of his/her photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression (right hand thumb in case the candidate do not have left hand thumb or any finger if both thumbs are not there). These scanned images are to be uploaded during the submission of application form. The photograph should be colour or b/w (but clear contrast) with name of the candidate and date of taking the photograph printed on it as shown below. It should be without cap or goggles. Spectacles are allowed. Polaroid photos are not acceptable. Candidates with unclear photograph are liable to be rejected. Candidates may keep 6-8 identical photographs in reserve for use at the time of entrance examination, Seat Allocation Process and Admission.
